What is GSPI?

GSPI (Girls Services Preparatory Institute) is a state-run residential institute in Nashik, Maharashtra, designed to train Class 10th pass girls for NDA, SSB interviews, and officer-level selection in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Every year, only 30 bright girls are selected after a tough state-level entrance exam followed by interviews and physical assessments.

GSPI Exam Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the GSPI entrance exam, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

  • Girls currently in or just passed Class 10th
  • Age between 15–17 years (subject to official criteria)
  • Interested in pursuing a career in the armed forces
  • Ready for two years of residential academic + defence training
    • Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
    Educational Qualification:
  • Students currently in 10th standard (SSC) or passed 10th class from a recognized board.
    • Medium: English medium is preferred, but candidates from Marathi medium are also eligible. Medical Fitness: Should be physically fit as per defence standards.
